I am based out of Vallejo, CA and I developed my love for hip-hop around elementary since my step-pops would blast all types of hip-hop from the West, East, and South Coast. As I grew up, I became a hip-hop artist myself as well as pursue a career in audio engineering. It was only right to enroll into SFSU and become a proud BECA member. Here I am now as I continue to share my love for hip-hop on this platform along with my amazing co-hosts!"
"It's your boy A-S-I-A-N R-O-C-K-Y up in the mix!" I was born in San Francisco, lived in Vallejo and The Philippines, before returning to Vallejo and eventually moving to the city. I also DJ so you know I gotta be in my bag and handpick the perfect tracks to put on. As a man with a diverse catalog, listening to all sorts of music, Hip-Hop and R&B is my specialty. Some of my favorite artists include OutKast, Kanye West, Drake, Jorja Smith, Snoh Aalegra, and Ms. Lauryn Hill herself. Now I am here to spread my enthusiasm and love for the culture to you all!

Musical inspiration such as Chris Brown, Drake, and J Cole have crafted my taste for music that in the end makes you feel, and offers an escape. I have hope to bring my on air talents to public radio or invest in a podcast! All I know is I'min the best place to do so, SF STATE!
