"AQUEMINI" 23 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

On the show last week, we discussed the 23 year anniversary of Outkast's 3rd album "Aquemini". Popular tracks from the album consist of Rosa Parks, SpottieOttieDopaliscious, and Da Art Of Storytellin' Part 1. The reason we want to celebrate this anniversary is because of Outkast's flamboyant and unique style and how much of an impact they made in the music industry. Not only coming from the South Coast Atlanta, they also brought a different sound to the rap game which was heavily flooded with either boom-bap from New York or g-funk from California. Outkast also has influence in fashion as Andre 3000 brought back the gender-neutral outfits. Lets just say that Outkast's impact on hip-hop is one to remember and pay homage towards!
